Cultivating an Ethical Work Environment for your Association

This session will help managers understand how to identify processes, systems, and structures within the organization that perpetuate negative bias, how to interact with structures that exemplify inclusion, and mitigate misunderstandings or a lack of engagement around equity, diversity, and inclusion. HR Managers will learn strategies to effectively position themselves to have a positive impact on the managers and employees of the organization, helping to bring their full potential, identities, perspectives, and skills to their work and customer relationships.

We’ll discuss the stages of the employee lifecycle, how to acculturate new people into the organization through inclusive onboarding best practices, how to actively drive inclusion throughout the entire hiring process, and how to achieve breakthrough results by embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into workplace systems and practices using an equity lens.
